What is Ren Drinks Beer?

I have no idea! It’s a free-flowing (read: unplanned, unscheduled and inspired) collection of essays — call them episodes, maybe — that I email to you at what will feel like random intervals.

All are ostensibly about beer … somehow! But most are about much more than that, covering topics like death and shame and the relentless movement of time. But then again, some are about how much I like the word “booze” or the time I incorrectly filled out an online restaurant reservation form.

It’s like bobbing for apples, except you’re sticking your head in a barrel full of mixed-up and artfully rendered emotions. And maybe with beer instead of water. I don’t know.
